Rocketman’s fantasy-like musical sequences which consist of amazing choreography and set designs are a treat to watch for all viewers. Bohemian Rhapsody follows the story of world-famous rock band Queen and its vocalist Freddie Mercury, leading up to their iconic Live Aid performance at the Wembley Stadium.

Rami Malek’s performance as Freddie sure did shake the world. In order to perfect the role, Rami hired a movement coach to capture Freddie’s famous mannerisms off and on stage. An Academy Award was awarded to Malek for Best Performance by an Actor In a Leading Role. Bohemian Rhapsody won 4 out of 6 Academy Award nominations at the Oscars in 2019.

Despite Bohemian Rhapsody’s noticeable flaws such as choppy editing and pacing issues, Queen and Freddie’s fascinating story will engage viewers from start to finish. This film’s third act is particularly memorable as it hits all the right emotional beats and captures Queen’s greatest performance of all time at Live Aid.
